Friends of the Scituate Town Library

The Friends of the Scituate Town Library is a volunteer, non-profit organization, advocating a strong public library system and actively supports the Scituate Town Library. We believe strongly that libraries are our windows to the world and need all the attention and support we can give.

Activities of the Friends include:

• Providing books, music CD's, audio books and video recordings for children and adults
• Semi-annual book sales (January and August)
• Support of the Rental Book Collection
• Providing the Museum Passes
• Sponsoring enrichment programs for children and cultural programs for adults
• Providing matching funds for SAIL (Senior computer classes)
• Purchasing PC's for the publics use
