Check out our summer paperbacks in the children's room from the Friends of the Scituate Town Library

Paws & Read-Summer Reading Program

Come to the library and sign up for our summer reading
program.

Reading logs are provided to keep track of your books.

We are partnering with the Scituate Animal Shelter to highlight the needs of animals without homes, and to encourage responsible pet ownership.

There will be a box for donations to the shelter in the children's room.

A wishlist is available at the library so you may know what the shelter needs for the animals.

Library Closed Sundays May through September

The Library is closed on Sundays during the months of May, June, July, August and September.

The Library will open again on Sunday beginning on October 5, 2008.

Sharon's Snack and Chat
From July 2-August 27, Sharon's Snack and Chat hour will be TWICE a week!

Stop by any Monday or Wednesday at 3pm for snacks, games and friends.

If the weather is nice, we will meet outside.
Feel free to bring games to share with the groups.
Grades 6-12 only.
