to the Reference Desk.
Our subscription databases
contain previously published content, such as encyclopedias, reference works,
magazines, newspapers, and scholarly journals, and more. They are electronic
copies of previously published works.
Within the library, our
subscription databases are available to all. A library card is not necessary.
Outside the library, a
valid library card is necessary to access our subscription databases through
the Internet.
Our subscription databases
are funded by the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners (MBLC) and the
Southeastern Massachusetts Library System (SEMLS).
