What are digital audio books?
Digital audio books are digital versions of books on CD or books on tape.
Digital audio books can be downloaded to a PC or Mac computer.
After downloading, use them on your computer or burn to CDs.
Or transfer them to your MP3 player, iPod, or other portable digital audio device for "on the go" listening.
Digital audio books can also be downloaded directly to Android, BlackBerry, iPhone and Window Mobile devices, and to the iPod Touch and iPad.

What are eBooks?
EBooks, or electronic books, are digital versions of print books formatted for on-screen reading.
Library eBooks can be downloaded to a PC or Mac computer using Adobe Digital Editions software.
After downloading, use them on your computer.
Or transfer them to your digital reading device such as the Nook or Sony Reader.
September 2011: OCLN eBooks are now available for download to Amazon Kindle.

What do I need?
A PC, Mac or select mobile device with an Internet connection.

A valid OCLN library card.
Free required software available at OCLN Digital Media Catalog.

How does it work?

If a title is not available, you may place a hold on it. |

You may have up to 10 titles on hold at a time. |

You can have up to 10 titles checked out at any given time. |

Lending periods can vary from title to title. |
|

You never accrue late fees because titles are automatically returned at the end of the lending period. |

When the loan period ends, the title file expires and you no longer have access to it. You can then delete the file. |

Titles cannot be renewed. |
